Let's start at the very beginning, the very best place to start.

We have used it on our bed for 7 1/2 years and it has held up nicely, except for one little square where a particular fabric had worn through and torn. When mom was here to help with Luke, she hand stitched a new fabric over it and it looks like new. I love it!
This is the quilt mom made for Claire. It is so lovely and she put a lot of work into it.
Look closely, she hand-appliqued the flowers and hearts and then also did a great job machine stitching it.
Here is the one she made for Morgan. It, too, is so lovely. I love the colors and the scalloped border.
If you look closely, you can see in the white squares, there is a quilted daisy. Love it!
Here is another quilt I received for Morgan. My friend, Kate, made this for her. It is a really cool quilt- with the polka dots and fuzzy fabric.
This is a recent acquisition. Monica made this for the Lukesters and I just love it! The pictures doesn't do the colors justice.
My mom did the quilting, little waves, and it looks so good.
I have more, but I think they have already been posted. Morgan's favorite thing in the whole world is her blanket that Michelle made, and Michelle also made Luke the sailboat blanket, and my mom made Luke the Safari blanket (which come to think of it, I don't think that one is posted yet, so I will have to post in my next post).

Mom sure had made a lot of beautiful quilts! I don't think I've ever seen the one she made for Claire. The hand applique looks so time consuming, but worth it.
Great. Now I'm going to have Sound of Music songs stuck in my head all day ;)
Maybe Spencer's the favorite since we got our quilt for our wedding! (just kidding!)
I always think how great it would be to compile all of Wileen's quilts, but since we live all over the country, this is definitely the next best thing.
I've never seen the quilt she made for Claire either. Those hand appliqued flowers are gorgeous!
Morgan's blanket from Michelle has always been one of my favorites.
Monica, I had no idea you made this for Luke! So cute! Love the sailboats, but for me the goldfish put it over the top on the cuteness scale! Love it!!!

OK, I really need to take pictures of all of my quilts. I just don't think about it until the end of the day when the kids are all in bed and the quilts are off limits (since most of them are in the kids' rooms). Don't lose hope in me.
