Easter Bunny House

Last night for date night, Cody and I found ourselves wandering around Michael's craft store (real romantic, I know). They had a couple different Easter foamy houses that you could assemble and I thought that it would be a perfect activity to do with Claire. She loves, LOVES sticky foamy projects.

It only took us about 45 minutes to put it together. I put the structure together, Claire placed all the stickies and decorations on, and Morgan kinda helped (she poked the foamies out that needed to be poked out). I only lost my patience twice, apologized to a traumatized Morgan, and viola! Easter bunny house finished. That's pretty good for us! It is so cute in person, because it just sparkles and the colors are so bright. It cost $7 but I bet if you wanted to buy one you could find a Michael's coupon and get it for half off.

Speaking of sticky foamies, Claire is always sneaking into our stash (because we have a stash of sticky foamies being that I am part magpie and collect things that sparkle) and making crafts out of them. A few weeks ago, she got some plain brown pots with a seed in it from primary. She decided to bling it out and added some sparkly hearts when we got home. I found these on the window sill and it made me smile. The girl has got style.

Thanks for the Michael's tip. We need more decorations around here and that project looks perfect.

It's a very cute easter house. I bet Samantha would enjoy doing something like that.
