Finally finished
I finally finished my Christmas table topper that I started before Christmas. I must say, there were a few times where I became discouraged because my lines and seam allowance weren't very straight or consistent. And it was a bit hard twisting the entire thing back and forth while sewing on the leaf shaped pieces. And even when I was all done sewing, I wasn't terribly excited about it. But let me tell you this -- once I washed it and dried it (apparently that is where the magic happens) and the raw edges became slightly frayed, none of the imperfections mattered anymore. I just love how it turned out. I seriously can't stop looking at it. Now I am itching to make another one.
*Al said it didn't necessarily look like a Christmas table topper. Maybe I will leave it out for a while.

It looks so good Monica! I wish I could see it in person.
That turned out great! I love it. You did a great jog.
I think you did a good jog too! I LOVE it and I can't wait to make one myself.
Great jog Monica! That must have taken the wind out of ya!
It turned out so pretty. I love the frayed edges and the colors.
OK, OK, I can't spell and talk about quilts at the same time.
