These are the inspiration for Abby's Halloween costume that I am going to make out of toulle and felt ($7 total at JoAnnes). Wish me luck as I have no idea what I'm doing (although I have found some tutorials on making tutus and they seem fairly easy).

That is super cute. Is that the one from Pottery Barn? Have fun making it. The tutus are easy enough to make.

Okay, we must be sisters. I, too, am making a lady bug costume, based off from this (it seems all my halloween inspirations come from potterybarn). But i am making mine with a felt dress (like the butterfly costume I copied a few years ago) instead of the tutu. I only have a few weeks, so I better start crackin'. Can't wait to see your finished product.
