Mom quilted my Hunky Dory Quilt. She did a fabulous job as always.
I'm using the scraps to make a pillow. Here is the applique for the pillow.

It was inspired by this painting Brooke showed me a few years ago. 
Now if I could only learn to paint, I would make some artwork like this painting, from pottery barn. I also like these fantail prints.

The pillow will look so cute. I love the bird. Those colors do look a lot like the picture that Brooke sent a while ago.
