I wanted to make a club house version of my castle caddy, and while it went together so well in my head, it wasn't until I had it all put together that I realized the fatal mistakes. It all has to do with that roof piece I put on it. It doesn't fold up right, and it also doesn't lay right, so it just looks sloppy. Like the scout club house on Follow Me Boys, that was built together using knots.
Let's not even talk about the ice cream scene because it makes me cry every time.
Anywho, this one was a fail, but I am not that bothered. Failure is a great teacher.

If this is a failure, then I am a monkey's uncle. I bet you learned tons from making this. It still looks very good. And I am still very impressed. I am anxious to see what it will look like once you get all the kinks worked out. For some reason, this reminds me of the cabin from the Parent Trap. Where did you find those little people? Are they making them like that again? I agree that failure is a great teacher. Imagine how smart I must be by now.
No movie can make me cry like Follow Me Boys.
The club house looks awesome though. I'm excited to see what else you come up with. There are endless possibilities.
a.) I would love for any of my sewing projects (and let it be known that they are few) to look like your "fail". I think it is adorable!
b.) Now I'm going to be humming "Follow Me Boys" all night long and wish that I could watch it. (and cry) I love that movie!
c.) At least your door didn't fall down when your cute Little People tried to open the door, like it did in the movie.
