Nursing Cover

Using this tutorial, I made a reversible nursing cover, complete with boning, storage pocket, and carrying bag.  I purchased one of these made from a single layer of fabric and am anxious to compare.  I'm hoping that the reversible one isn't too hot for baby girl.  The huge advantage of making my own is that I made it extra large to ensure maximum coverage.

Ooooops, I didn't notice my swollen foot is in the picture until after I posted it. Oh well, I'm too lazy to fix it now.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT TO COOL OFF HERE AND/OR HAVE MY BABY.

That is super cute! (i have to say i think that line of fabrics is one of my all time favorites!)

The best thing about the nursing cover that you made for me (other than it being so cute) was the size. I had a 'hooter hider' and the one that you made for me, and I much preferred yours. It covered SO much better, and you know...when you're in a tiny room w/6 other moms, coverage is a good thing ;)

Oh, how I do not miss the swollen feet.

I didn't notice the swollen foot until you pointed it out. Your down to the final month now!

I love that line of fabric too. And I think you will like that it is double sided. I definitely don't think the baby will be too hot. I would often use blankets to nurse, and I never found my babies getting too hot (of course I don't live in AZ, but now I live in AL, which is finally fall now that it is low 80s).
