Halloween Banner
I finally finished a decoration BEFORE the actual holiday. And I figured out how to use some of the decorative stitches on my sewing machine (the trick is to use fabric stabilizer). Made from 100% scraps, including an old black silk skirt.

Good job Shells! Glad that you finished well before the actual holiday! Starting a new trend? Love the flowers. You have made good use of that pattern.
Did you sew the letters by hand?
Looks great!
I used heat n' bond for the letters and then hand sewed embroidery thread to the letters to give it a finished look. I didn't feel like using my machine to finish the edges this time around.
Looks good. I also like playing around with the stitches. This is reminding me that I need to get out our Halloween decorations. I bought a bunch last year after Halloween and am excited to see how they look.
That is so cute, and I love the flowers!!
Cute. you sure are getting your money's worth out of that flower pattern. I like how you incorporated the black silk into it. very cool.
