I love the strawberry shortcake character, not only because I had this same cake made for my birthday when I was little (it's the cake pan that keeps on giving), but because it is still so cute. I love the colors; I love that all her friends live in a berry; I love that Morgan loves them, too.
And being a true nerd that I am, I made a little berry village to decorate the food table and Claire and Morgan loved playing with the berry houses.

It all looks great. I too am so nostalgic (or however you spell it) with that cake pan. I need to learn to do cakes. My kids are stuck with boring cakes from me. Abby hasn't been introduced to strawberry shortcake yet. She is still stuck on cars, firetrucks, and stuffed puppies. Perhaps Christmas . . . .
Love the cake!! (remember when you transformed it into a princess cake for Hannah? Perfection!)
I LOVED Strawberry Shortcake when I was little. Although apparently I'm not a super fan because I can't remember the other girls names...without googling them anyway. But I won't cheat ;)
Great job on the cake and the decorations. And I have no idea what the names of the dolls are!
I also have fond memories of that cake. I also loved strawberry shortcake as a little girl. There was just something both magical and delicious about her. I bet the party was a huge hit.
Their names are Snap, Crackle And Pop, right?
